Thesis)Mehmet AKDEREGAZI UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYSeptember 2006ABSTRACTIn this study switch mode power supplies (SMPS) are generally considered.Their historical change and development are fully investigated. In addition,some SMPS types that are used in televisions are presented. The flybackconverter that is a tv-type SMPS is specifically taken and analyzed. A 200Wprototype is built in laboratory environments.
