Özet (EN)

In this study has been dealt with request assessment of six credit card applications. The model which has been used for request assessment has been supported by Analytic Hierarchy Process. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is one of the multi criteria decision making method that constructs a multi-level decision hierarchy and obtains relative weights of components of hierarchy by making pairwise comparisons and gets an overall score by combining these weight. The main criterions and sub criterions which influence over the assessment of requests are classifying by a hierarchy framework. Afterward total score is been calculated as applying Analytic Hierarchy Process. Thanks to Analytic Hierarchy Process, analyzing at the same time of quantitative and qualitative factors lead to a more comprehensive estimate. At the end of the assessment supported by AHP model a final score has been attained for each applicant. The final score is compared with a minimum accepting credit card score from a bank sample and after that a positive or a negative result is given to applicant. In this thesis has been used Analytic Hierarchy Process because it is open to individual thoughts, it is flexible to the change of the economics factors, it is easy to use and because it gives results in short period of time. At the same time the aim of this thesis is to depict a short and right solution by using Analytic Hierarchy Process instead of the accumulative and dense work that is need for the evaluation of credit card applicants.
