Problems about assigned positions of school administrators in preschools and proposed solutions (The example of Şanlıurfa)

The aim of this research is to present the problems about assigned positions of school administrators in preshcools and proposed solutions about these problems in regard to opinios of administrators. Case study (multiple case study), a pattern of qualitative research, was conducted in this research. Data used in this research was obtained by using semi-structured interview forms. Obtained data were analysed by using descriptive analysed method. The population of this research consists of administrators working in independent preschools in Şanlurfa centrum in 2018-2019 education year. Maximum diversity sampling was used in the research. The study group consists of 29 school managers and 26 school manager assistans working in 29 independent preschools in Şanlıurfa centrum. According to results this research; enough support staff was not provided to the schools for cleaning and security. Administrators quoted that there are many subsitute teachers in schools and these subsitute teachers do not have essential subject matter knowledge. Double shifting schooling is a quite big problem for schools and the ministry does not transfer allowence to preschools. Developed proposing solutions by administrators are to give enough support staff to the schools, to terminate double shifting schooling and back to normal shift, to finish the application of subsitute teacher and to transfer allowence to the schools by ministry.
