The relationship between safety precautions and health family in the mother of children

It is a relational-descriptive study planned to determine the relationship between the security measures taken by the mothers of the kindergarten children and their health beliefs. The population of the study consisted of 1599 mothers with 3-6 year old children in 11 kindergartens in Bolu city center. The sample prepared by the World Health Organization was used for the sampling of the study and it was determined that 338 mothers should be reached. Lists of 3-6 year old children from all kindergartens were taken and 338 mothers of children were identified by simple random sampling. The study was completed with a total of 314 people, 13 of whom left blank for some of the questionnaires and 11 mothers did not agree to participate in the survey. The data of the research conducted with mothers between 07.11.2017-18.01.2018 in Bolu; The tır Person Information Form Form was collected by using the ına "Scale of Defining Safety Measures for Mother's Home Accidents in Children" and "Parent Health Belief Scale".Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation in the evaluation of introductory data; Skewness and Kurtosis tests were performed for the normal distribution of continuous data. The minimum and maximum scores were obtained from the scales. Independent samples t-test, ANOVA, Kruskal Wallis, Mann Whitney U tests and Pearson correlation test were used to evaluate the correlations of the scales. The internal consistency of the scales was calculated with Cronbach alpha coefficient. Ethical approval, official consent and informed consent were obtained from the mothers. It is concluded that the lesser the belief factors of mothers, the higher the security measures they take for home accidents. Young mothers, large and fragmented families, children with children, children with more than one home accident, patients with diagnosed disease, first aid information, those who do not take measures at home to create a risk of home accidents to prevent home accidents are proposed to create programs.
