The examination of the relation among the children and their parents and its effects on the playing behaviors of the children attending kindergarten

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship of the kindergarten children with their parents to the children's play behaviors. The population of the study consists of 4-6 years old children and their families attending preschool education institutions in İzmir. The sample group consisted of children and their families aged 4-6 years who were educated in a special preschool education institution in Balçova District of İzmir Province in the 2018-2019 academic year. "Child-Parent Relationship Scale" which was adapted to Turkish by Yeşilyaprak and Akgün (2010) as a measurement tool in the study, "Play Behavior Scale for 36-71 Months Preschool Children" developed by Aslan (2016) and validity by Kabakçı, Tuğrul, Öztan (1993) and "Birtchnell Spousal Assessment Scale" which is a reliable and reliable study, was carried out to determine the relationship between parents and their relationship with their children and their children's play behaviors. The data obtained from all applications were gathered for analysis and evaluated using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Studies) statistical package program. According to the results obtained from the research data; mothers 'relationship with their children, mothers' age, education level, working status, perceptions of the family's socioeconomic status, the age of children, gender, the number of children in the family, the number of children participating in the study did not differ according to the family. However, it was seen that the relationship between the spouses and the relationship between the spouse and the spouse had a negative correlation with the negative relationship with the child and there was a positive correlation between the disconnection, control and dependence of the woman with the spouse and the negative relationship with the child. In addition, according to the results obtained from these research data, no relationship was found between the play behaviors of children and the parents' relationship with their children.
