Evaluation of the organizational commitment levels of kindergarten teachers with various variables

This research was conducted to evaluate the organizational commitment levels of preschool teachers with various variables. Within the scope of the research it was sought the answers to "What is the organizational commitment of preschool teachers?" and "Do the organizational commitment levels of preschool teachers differ in terms of various variables (gender, marital status, education level, professional seniority, duty period at the school)?".For this purpose, personal information form and organizational commitment scale were applied to preschool teachers.Survey Model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the data collection phase of the study. The sample of the study consisted of 203 pre-school teachers working in primary and secondary schools in public schools affiliated to the National Education in the 2021-2022 academic year with the convenient sampling technique, which is among the non-random sampling methods. In order to collect the research data, the Personal Information Form and the "Organizational Loyalty Scale", which was adapted into Turkish by Ergün and Çelik (2019), were applied. Organizational Commitment Scale consists of 15 items and three subdimensions self-interested, forced and moral commitment. The data obtained in the research were analyzed with descriptive statistical analysis, independent sample t-test and ANOVA. As a result of the research, the Organizational Commitment Scale and its sub-dimension scores do not show a statistically significant difference according to gender, marital status and education level, professional seniority and working time at the school where they work (p>0.05).
