Abstract (EN)

Forms found in many places in nature can create different meanings and emotions in humans depending on their use. Forms and shapes in the structure of many natural elements such as vegetation, mountains and the structure of waves in the sea serve an emotional reflection. This approach appears in different movements and genres as a method of conveying the artist's feelings and thoughts in his work by considering form in many areas of art such as architecture, sculpture and painting. In animation, which is an art form, the use of form is an important part of storytelling with characters and spaces. In this research, after addressing the relationship between form and animation and addressing examples of circle, square and triangle forms in character and space structures, the emotional states created by the forms according to their use in the animation film "Up" will be examined. Then, an animated film adaptation called "Shadow" will be made in which these forms are reflected in emotional states with design elements.
