Healing bowls at the Ethnography Museum of Ankara

Healingbowls at theEthnographyMuseum of Ankara is analysed in this study. Healingbowlsappearto be as a production of severalimplementationspeople has doneso far in ordertofind a curetotheirillnesses. It?sbeenbelievedthatpeopleoranimalsdrinkingwaterout of thesebowlsthathaveseveralprayers, versesandtalismansigns on willrecuperate. Inthisstudy, it is intendedtojudgeandintroducethebowls in respect of theirculture of faithreflected as well as whatbowlsare, whytheyareproducedandused, usingrituals, features of materialandornomentation. Duringourstudies at theEthnographyMuseum of Ankara, an aggregate of 28 healingbowlsweredetected on exhibitionsandinrepositories. Inourstudy, it is intentedtospecifythebowls? place in history of art, analyseandjudgethebowls in respect of variousfeatureslikehistory, material, technics, shape, craftsman, functions, thepurpose of writings,symbolsandtalisman on them, theirplaceandimportance in ourculture.
