The analysis of the traditional city pattern in Ankara Güdül and the conservation problems

The purpose of this thesis, create a proposal about the tap on the city of Güdül District of Ankara City evaluated by examining; conservation and development.The study contains six chapters, including the introduction and conclusion. After the introduction part in which the aim and the method of the work is explained, a background of physical, historical, social, economical and architectural characteristics of the study field is given in the second chapter, and they are analyzed in the third chapter. Then, the possibilities and problems are determined according to the results of analysis in the previous chapter. In the fifth chapter still considering the results of the evaluations made in the previous chapter, the decisions made towards the conservation, developments and rehabilitations, which are related to socio-economic structure, and architectural environment are proposed. In the sixth chapter, which is the conclusion chapter, the importance of the "Conservation plans" for historical environments is emphasized. In this context, may constitute an important part of the planning process used in the thesis, the proposed resolutions, the necessity of protection associated with the development plan were discussed.
