Abstract (EN)

This research has been made for people who are over 18 years old in counties, towns and villages where Crimean Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) disease is seen to evaluate the attitude and knowledge about the disease and protection from the disease.This research is sectional type research. The questionnaire, which has 40 questions, was used at 1250 houses face to face by the help of health personel in CCHF diseases seen counties and villages of Ankara and Kırıkkale provinces.As a result of the analysis of factors that are effective for the condition of knowledge by logistic regression; it has been shown that education level, type of profession (jobs related with agriculture), previously being educated about the CCHF disease and the city they live were effective for knowledge.As a result of the analysis of factors that are effective for attitude condition; it has been shown that being previously educated about the CCHF disease and the city they live were effective in attitude.Especially, for the people in the endemic places which have high tick population; regular visits of the educated health personnel to the houses to improve the level of knowledge, attitude and behaviour about the CCHF disease and taking the necessary precautions will be effective in the prevention of CCHF disease.
