Approach to sociology lesson of sociology teachers who teach sociology in Ankara high schools: multidimensional problems in sociology teaching

To organize the society and educate the human resources in regulation, education is a guiding association. Education both aims to provide the continuity of the society by educating the manpower which the society adopts and needs and to bring up a modern person by assuring individual?s physical, mental and emotional development and modernizing the society and improving the values. By means of education, ideal society and ideal individual are tried to be formed. Education?s success, mainly, will be achieved by being special to its society. For this reason education has to benefit from the research and analysis of sociology. Education has to benefit from teaching programs to realize its aim. Topics such as student, society, science and the developments in the technical area, the ideals and demands of the government are effective in preparation of the program. This study is about the Sociology Teaching Program which is applied in secondary education.
