Abstract (EN)
Ankara, where there was an intense population increase after it bekama the capital city, has been the scene of various population movements in the city since the past due to the increase in population and continues to be. The areas where this is observed in the most intensive and complex form are the metropolitan urban areas, which are the areas where the population and development are the most concentrated in Ankara. It would be appropriate to list the metropolitan city areas within the province of Ankara as Altındağ, Mamak, Çankaya, Sincan, Pursaklar, Etimesgut, Elmadağ and Keçiören districts, which are defined as the central regions of Ankara. Intra-provincial migrations between tense districts and between non-metropolitan districts and metropolitan districts bring along intense urban population changes in Ankara. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the urban clustering and dilution in the metropolitan districts of Ankara, which arise due to the population mobility in cities, which have a special importance for the Urban Geography, and to make inferences about the various aspects of the population in the districts by determining the demographic structures of the people participating in the movement. To accomplish this goal, Turkey Statistical Institute on 6/10/2020 migration numbers within Ankara province (in the form of district and that district) and numerically educational status of people participating in mobility, gender and age range were obtained information. The obtained data were processed in the form of tables, graphs and maps by using Microsoft Excel, Statistical Data Analysis methods and GIS. On the basis of these processed data, various inferences were made about the metropolitan districts of Ankara province.
