THE EVALUATION OF SAMPLES BELONGS TO LEGUMINOSAEFAMILY IN HERBARYUM OF THE FACULTY OF PHARMACYUNIVERSITY OF ANKARA (AEF)(M. Sc. Thesis)Suna YILMAZGAZI UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYOcak 2007ABSTRACTLeguminosae family was revised at AEF and found out that 1624 plantspecimens belonging to 54 genera and 462 taxa were deposited. Total 111 speciesare endemic for Turkey and rate of endemism is %24.02. The first ten generacontaining the most species are as follows: Astragalus L. (126), Trifolium L. (47),Lathyrus L. (25), Vicia L. (23), Trigonella L. (25), Onobrychis Adans. (25),Medicago L. (15), Genista L. (11), Hedysarum L. (10), Lotus L. (6). Thedistribution of species belonging to different phytogeographic region are asgiven below: Irano-Turanian 130 (%28.13), Mediterranean 90 (%19.48), Euro-Siberian 30 (%6.48) ,the others are wildspread or cosmopolits 212 (%45.91).Totally 54 species are new for the collected squares.Science Code : 203.1.017Key words : Revision, Leguminosae, AEF, Ankara, TurkeyPage Number : 182Adviser : Prof. Dr. Zeki Aytaç
