Abstract (EN)
In this study, 300 Morkaraman sheep, 2-3 years old, with an average body weight of 40-50 kg were used. The sheep were divided into 3 groups, each containing 100 sheep. The first group was treated for 9 days. group received intravaginal sponge for 12 days. III. and the control group. Following the removal of the sponges, 500 IU PMSG injection was performed. Rate of resentment within 24-48 hours. Pregnancy examination was performed on 39th and 42nd days by the sheep coming to the rate of resentment withhin . Progesterone levels were obtained from the sheep on the 0th, 5th, 9th, and 12th days of intravaginal sponge application. According to these results; It was concluded that intravaginal sponge applied for 12 days gave more successful results in terms of number of twins and triplets.
