Abstract (EN)
Antalya is located in the Mediterranean Region in the south of Turkey. It is located in the Mediterranean Climate Zone around Antalya province. It is one of the most rainfall-receiving provinces in Turkey. Especially in autumn and winter, the amount of precipitation is quite high. This can cause flooding and flooding. It is also one of the important tourism centers of our country. Although there is density in antalya province and surrounding areas, especially in the summer months, population growth has seen in recent years. Therefore, it is very important to prevent flooddisasters and minimize the damage to disasters. In this context, it is important to carry out the necessary engineering studies related to floods as a priority. Floods are generally defined as the event of very large volume currents not fit in the stream bed. Factors that form floods and floods; Topography and geological structure of the region, extreme rainfall, climate conditions of the region, deterioration of the natural balance of stream beds in areas at risk of flooding uncontrolled urbanization and construction, natural and human (landslide, etc.) factors such as reasons. Flood prevention and prevention reclamation projects have been carried out in Antalya before, and in this context there are creeks that have been rehabilitated in certain areas. The biggest factor in the formation of floods is the factors that are caused by humans. Formations such as incorrect and unplanned land use, the destruction of green areas, forests and farmlands, crooked urbanization, construction in creek beds and flood areas are the situations where the human factor is effective in the formation of floods. In this context, the location of antalya province, climate and population growth seen in recent years, especially in the district of Antalya and dangerous creeks to be controlled and geologically evaluated the purpose and importance of the project highlights. Geological maps were created and straticrafig sections were drawn by digitizing the line data of 17 streams included in the 5 sections of D.S.I. within the scope of the study, it was stated about the material needed for the improvement of the streams and how much material needed and where this need would be met. In order to ensure flood prevention and control of the streams subject to the study, flood and flood prevention, control, evaluation and inspection procedures were carried out for 17 streams in Antalya. Flood control and geological evaluations of the streams determined in this direction have been completed. Quaternary sediments, quaternary travertine, beach sand formations, limestone-shale alternations, alluvium spectrum, neritic and pelagic limestones, carbonate and clastic rocks were also observed in the study areas. Considering the damages that these flood streams may cause to agriculture and habitats, it was decided that the streams should be improved. Investigations have been made on where the rock material required for the breeding stone masonry wall can be obtained or purchased, the amount of material required, the current status of the material areas, and their distance to the study areas.
