Abstract (EN)
In this study, commercial fishing nets having 44 mm mesh size of gillnet with 40 mm and 44 mm mesh size of trammel nets? selectivity parameter was determined for the target species. The minimum fishing size and/or first breeding sizes of species was compared with the obtained parameters. The study was carried out in the Gulf of Antalya. During the research 15 days of valid study was performed. In the end of the study, red mullet (Mullus barbatus), common pandora (Pagellus erythrinus), axillary seabream (Pagellus acarne) and bogue (Boops boops) fishes with different morphological characteristics selectivities were determined by the comparison of 40 mm and 44 mm trammel nets? fishing efficencies with the 40 mm mesh size of gillnet, which is frequently used in the Gulf of Antalya.
