Abstract (EN)
The most important disruptive effects encountered in the wireless communication channels are noise, fading and shadowing. Due to these efffects, high alteration is occured at the transmitted signal, average power of signal decrease and observe to significant decline at error performance of the system. The signals are transmited over independent channels to reduce the negative effects. This technique is called diversity. In this technique, multiple antennas are used at the receiver and transmitter for diversity. Multiple antenna system, which is also known as MIMO system has attracted considerable attention in the communication, because of positive impacts over bit error rate (BER) and channel capacity. However, this technique causes additional expenses because of hardware complexity. It is possible to decrease these cost with a technique, which is called antenna selection. At the same time acting like a virtual MIMO system, cooperative communication system is an alternative solution against the problems that happened in MIMO. In a cooperative communication system, in addition to the direct transmission between source and destination, there can be relay nodes which can be used for forwarding the source message to the destination. Thus, diversity is provided and obtained better error performances without increasing the number of antenna. Relay selection strategy design is one of the fundamental issues in cooperative communication. In the literature there are several studies considering relay selection. Recently using MIMO and cooperative systems together came into question and at these theme, several studies are done. In the literature, there are various techniques are proposed for receive diversity. Some of these are selective combining (SC), equal gain combining (EGC) and maximum ratio combining (MRC). In addition to these receive diversity techniques, most important transmit diversity scheme is maximum ratio transmission (MRT), is also suggested. In this study, case of using MRT and MRC with dual-hop one way relay network over generalized-K channel is analysed the error performance. Also, investigates the error performance of an amplify-and-forward multi-input multi-output two-way relay network over generalized-K channel where two sources are equipped with multiple antennas employing MRT.
