Sarmatians - Scythians in the light of antique sources and actual works

The subject that researched in that thesis is people called Sarmatians. Sarmatians and the tribes that belongs to them had lived in B.C and Anno Domini (after Christ). General Informatians that belongs to this nation comes from antic sources, nevertheless Sarmatians did not leave any written sources that belongs to them. For this reason their language, culture and origins has been debated. Since this nation did not leave any written sources the methods and materials that canshed light on the subject are archaeological materials and modern researches. Classical sources also gives us infromation about Sarmatians and so those informatians they give us very importantly helpful to shedding light on the origins of the Sarmatians. This thesis researched with usage of antic sources, classical sources and modern researches as mentioned above and translated by the author of thesis when its necessary otherwise used Turkish sources. Researches have done on Sarmatians inside and also outside of Turkey, knowing that this thesis researched the informations that never published in Turkey before and written in this thesis. Beside those, theories, inferences and discoveries that can shed light on origins of Sarmatians belongs to author of the thesis also featured in that thesis. Informations of antic sources featured in first chapter of this thesis, in second chapter after giving information of modern researches, results of objectively examined informations of antic sources and modern researches about origins of Sarmatians are displayed.
