Perception of women in Ancient Greek intellectual and social life

In this study, it is aimed to reveal the status of women in the society in detail in Ancient Greek societies by examining all kinds of archaeological and written materials that shed light on history. In the first part of our study titled Women in the Intellectual and Social Life of Ancient Greece, which is the main subject of our research, information is given about girls, women, marriages and dowries of Ancient Greek women, clothing and jewelry of Ancient Greek women, and in the second part of the study, the place of Greek women in social life. We tried to give information about their place in political life and their place in religious. As a result of research and study, in Greek society we convey that women are left in the background, they cannot have a say in their own lives, and they continue their lives under general domination.
