Abstract (EN)

In this study, Cu/TiO2, Cu-P/TiO2, Cu-P-Sb(%1)/TiO2 and Cu-P-Sb(%2)/TiO2 catalysts were produced by using impregnation method for hydrocarbon selective catalytic reduction (HC-SCR) system. During the testing of produced catalyst, ethyl alcohol was used as reducing agent. NOX conversion efficiency was analysed under the different temperatures and engine loads. SEM, XRD and BET analysis were conducted in order to examine the chemical and structural properties of used catalysts. In the SCR test system, the experiments were conducted in different temperatures ranged from 180 ⁰C to 270 ⁰C in constant gas hourly space velocity GHSV (30000 h-1). The tests were conducted in 3 different loads (1 kW, 3 kW and 5 kW) with constant speed (3000 rev/m) by using 2 cylinders, V-type diesel engine. These tests identified the effects of synthesized SCR catalyst on NOX conversion rate. In result, NOX conversion rates were measured between 85,67 % and 94,89 %. Maximum NOX conversion rate was measured in 5 kW load, at 270 ⁰C, SV= 30000 h-1 as 94,89 %.
