Özet (EN)
This study is on the adaptation of antisocial beliefs and attitudes scales developed by Butler, Leschied and Fearon (2007) into Turkish. The general aim of the study is to exhibit the scales, already proved to be reliable and valid, in the Turkish form. During the translation part of the scales, applied on 1938 individuals between the age of 9-16,; besides, by means of the post-translation questioning technique, group translation and back-translation method the scales was made to be equalled in terms of original form and language. As for the structural validity, explanatory and confirmatory factor analyses were realized and the correlations of total matter points were calculated. On the strength of the outcome obtained from the factor analysis, a three-factor structureemerged. Confirmatory factor analysis verified this three-factor structure which was previously foreseen through explanatory factor analysis. As for the criteria related validity of the scales, similar and different structures, gender, age related validity and distinguishing validity were examined. The similar scales used showed distinguishing correlation in a positive fashion. Similarly, The results obtained indicated that antisocial beliefs and attitudes increase depending on the age and males? are higher than the females?. As for the reliability, the scales were applied every four weeks and re-test testcorrelation was examined. The internal-consistency reliability was calculated thorough Cronbach Alpha coefficients. Re-test correlations and Cronbach Alpha coefficients shoved that the reliability of measurement was high. The findings obtained shoved that antisocial beliefs and attitudes scales were able to give both bottom measurement points and a general antisocial attitudes and beliefs points. Keywords: Antisocial attitudes, antisocial beliefs, Antisocial beliefs and attitudes, criminal conduct, validity, reliability, child, adolescence.
