In this thesis, we investigated some approximation properties of Kantorovich-Stancu type operators studied by Dan Barbosu. Moreover, we studied some theorems on the rate of convergence in terms of the modulus of continuity for integrable functions.Key Words : Approximation theorems, Kantorovich-Stancu type operators, modulus of contiunity, rate of convergance
