Abstract (EN)

The vehicle comfort and safety are developing very differently with the increasing the technology. Especially, the autonomous driver module in the electric car affected this developing up of comfort and safety directly. The vehicle heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system is most important of them because this HVAC system provides comfortable travels by protecting it from hot weather in summer and cold weather in winter. In this study, we examined plastic motor holder part which used in the air conditioning motor in the HVAC system. This part is a component where the electronic card, rotor and stator are assembled, which carries the load of the air conditioner motor both when it is idle and when it is running, and also plays an important role in the cooling of the electronic card. For this reason, it is important for engine performance that this part is durable under real working conditions. Static and modal analysis of the motor holder part was made with finite element analysis. According to the analysis results, the climate motor affected negatively because there were more plastic deformation with the first design. With the design improvement study, increasing the durability of motor holder part provided to run longer.
