Abstract (EN)

This study on "The Pronoun Huwa in Arabic Language" consists of an introduction, two chapters and a conclusion. In the introduction, the importance of the subject of the study, the basic concepts of the research, the problem situation, the method followed in the study and information about the sources are given. In addition, general information about the scope of the sciences of nahw and sarf is given in order to provide a basis for the subject, and its relationship with Islamic and human sciences is mentioned. The first chapter deals with pronouns in general terms. With the data obtained from grammatical sources, the definition, functions, types and the reference/merjî problem of pronouns are introduced. In addition, the differences of opinion on the aspects of pronouns in the grammatical tradition are discussed. In the second part the pronoun Huwa, which is the focus of the study, is discussed. In this section, the pronoun Huwa is analyzed by classifying it according to the fields of linguistic sciences and other disciplines. In the linguistic sciences, it is investigated what kind of examinations the pronoun Huwa is subjected to within the sciences of lexicon, sarf and nahiv. In addition, the disciplines in which Huwa receives special attention have been identified and how Huwa is handled in these fields has been determined. As a result of the analysis, it was seen that the pronoun Huwa occupies an important place in grammar among pronouns and has special uses separate from other pronouns. In the field of Islamic and human sciences, the pronoun Huwa is sometimes the origin of a special term and sometimes the focus of some discipline-specific discussions.
