Taaddi and luzum in Arabic language

Language becomes a healthy communication tool by placing words in sentences within a certain hierarchy. From this point of view, it is obvious that all the words that have a place in the sentence have a special importance and will affect the others both in terms of form and meaning. We can say that the main role belongs to the verb in the arrangement of the elements that make up the sentence in the Arabic language. At this point, the taaddi/transitional and lüzum/intransitive features of the verb come to the fore. Based on this importance, in this study, the concepts of transitive and intransitive are examined and the reasons why verbs take these adjectives and what are the issues related to the subject are tried to be revealed. In this context, in the first part, the science of Morphology, which examines the structure of the word, and the verb has been mentioned briefly and in preparation for the subject. In the second and third chapters, verbs are examined over the concepts of transitive and intransitive, and at the same time, the effects of the structure of verbs on this point, the effect of hurûf al-jarr on transitive and intransitive verbs, literal signs of transitive and intransitive verbs, maf'uls states, determining features of infinitive forms, controversial issues and specific views of linguists on these issues are discussed. In the last part, the study has been concluded by mentioning the methods that provide the transitional between the forms that verbs have.
