Abstract (EN)

Simile is one of the most important rhetoric arts which has preserved its value from the earliest periods of Arabic literature to the present. Far-meaning expressions, which have no information about them, are brought closer, and abstract expressions are concretized. Thus, simile strengthens the expression with an impressive and magical style and gives the expression superiority. These effects are seen in a superior way in representative simile, which is one of the most important types of simile. Because, in representation of simile, unlike other simile types, the sides and the simile direction consist of more than one element. In this respect, with the representation of simile, a painting or a theater scene comes to life in the mind of the addressee. For this reason, representation of simile is an effective and powerful means of expression. In our study; Representative simile, which is one of the types of simile and simile, will be discussed in detail, and representative similes in the verses selected from the Quran as a sample will be examined. In this examination, the correspondence of simulated expressions between the source language and the target language will be examined in the light of the opinions of the interpreters and linguists, based on the Turkish translations selected as samples.
