Abstract (EN)
In 2010, starting with the burning of a young man in Tunisia himself has too much noise in protests in country. The other Arab countries that are affected by Tunisia also had small or large scale events and the events referred to as Arap Spring. The events in Tunisia was reflected to the other countries due to all Arab countries are smilar to the each other by political, economic and social ways. Also Arab countries are different from the other world countries by these ways. Arab countries are showing great similarities to each other in a general sense, the riots became a civil war in some Arab countries and remained as small protests in other Arab countries. This study is about what is the differences between the this two class of Arab countries that had different scale events such as massive and on a small scale. Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Yemen, Syria and Bahrein are countries that had important events and Algeria, Morocco, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Jordan are countries that had the events not so hot as much as the other six countries. In this study it is determined why the events are different altough the Arab countries are so similar to each other. It is believed that the main reason for the riots in Arab countries is the lack of democracy in countries. According to this assumption it is analyzed the democracy indexes and how many years the leader had been managed the country. The other assumption is that it shows a lot of diversity in the ethnic structure in the Arab countries. In this context, also the tribalism indexes are examined and the correlation between democracy indexes and tribalism indexes is propounded.
