Abstract (EN)

The power of expressing the meaning and concepts of the language which is a human-specific ability is directly proportional to the ability to derive words. The significant part of words of languages consists of verbs and verb derivation is an important element that feeds the vocabulary. This study addresses the morphological structure of Arabic which is an old language, channels which feed the verb existence, verb derivation in Arabic and how it was studied from past to present, tries to explain the meaning and functions of Arabic language verb patterns which are highly complex and richness of Arabic from the perspective of Turkish grammar. In addition, the study also examines the Turkish equivalents of concepts like transitive, intransitive, compliance, partaking which are related functions of verb forms.
