Abstract (EN)

Laws are important and necessary for the continuation of life in society. Language is also an essential tool for the regulation and enforcement of laws. Language and law are two inseparable elements. Agreement between members of society and the implementation of rules and systems are possible through language. In this study, the effect of Arabic in Turkish legal terminology and the sound, meaning and form changes of legal terms of Arabic origin are explained. In the first part of the study, the introduction, the problem situation, the objectives and the importance and limitations of the research, the related studies and the research methods are explained. In the second part of the study, the theoretical framework is explained and the relation of special language and language with other sciences is discussed. In the third part, the changes that the terms have undergone are analyzed and the research is concluded with results and suggestions.
