Abstract (EN)
The game is not only a human-specific concept, it is also more ancient than culture for human beings. It is determined that paintings and miniatures from the Turkish and Islamic world and some games belong to the old times. The game is a set of movements, with certain rules, which allow children to recognize themselves and their surroundings, entertain themselves with much more mental activity but seem to be based on physical movements, and have a good time. The play has an intensive work on the traces of cultures and has an important role in shaping the community. Toys, on the other hand, are important records of the lifestyles of the period in which they were created, reflecting the social and cultural characteristics of the period they were made. Toys allow children to be creative, to improve their hand skills, as well as to be able to make their own decisions and acquire skills in specific areas. In addition, toys made from grandparents such as parents, grandparents, traditional knowledge and culture are transmitted among the generations. In this study, the games played in Ardahan and the used toys and the role of these games in the preparation of the individuals are examined in Ardahan children's games. In our review, the games and toys, functions and ways of transferring to next generations are discussed in Ardahan with participatory observation and interview methods. In this sense, in order to express how effective and functional the games and toys are, firstly the information about Ardahan's history and geography is given briefly, then the concept of game and toy is emphasized. In the continuation of the work, the games and toys compiled from the Ardahan region are presented according to the sources of the sources and the functions of these games on the children in the Ardahan region are discussed. Because of the migration structure of Ardahan, large villagers who were schools were selected as examples. These villagers are 79 different people from different age groups and sexes 121 different games and 7 the toy is compiled. When the functions of compiled games are examined, it has been determined that the child has acquired some skills to shape his whole life. Your games are children; Life, communication, language, leadership, problem solving, and self-management skills, and it has been given along with the games in which the ratings of these skills are gained.
