The transition to renewable energy, fuzzy AHP method energy audit and premier feasibility analysis of Arel University

Nowadays, the increase in energy use, the extenuation of the potential fossil energy resources and environmental pollution necessitates the use of renewable energy sources. Energy use increases with respect to the needs and this situation threatens a sustainable life. For this reason; there is a need to increase the ratio of renewable energy sources at the consumed energy. As large portion of the energy consumption,is from the buildings the need for renewable energy sources that can be obtained from or near the buildings increased. The main purpose of this study is to provide energy from the wind energy to the Istanbul Arel University. Information to be used at the selected methodology is collected from scholars related to energy sector, manufacturers and chamber member related to Energy in Turkey. The weighting of factors effecting a proper wind-turbine selection and alternative comparisons will be conducted using Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Proses and participant's idea will be used for these purposes.
