Abstract (EN)
Electric arc spraying is a process of depositing metallic materials on a substrate. Arc spray metal tooling has been used commercially for sometime as a rapid method of producing moulds for use in a variety of manufacturing processes. It is a relatively fast and cheap method of producing tooling for prototyping and short-run manufacturing. In this study, zinc coatings were produced with electric arc spray process. Once about 0.5 mm of metal has been applied, the current on the spraying machine can be increased to deposit material more rapidly. The shell is usually sprayed to a thickness of 1?2 mm using fine atomising pressures to replicate the pattern.Than coated samples were investigated optical microscopy, SEM, and EDS analysis. In order to improve the properties of arc spray formed Zn shells by reducing temperature of substrates and various removel molds.microstructural defects, used the different technics, such as spray parameters.
