Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study is to prepare a model proposal for preserving and presenting Apollo Clarios Oracle Centre pursuant to the information provided by analyzing the methods used to preserve and present the cultural heritage within the archeological sites.During the research stage of thesis, the design and application process of protection roof and walking platforms have been analyzed over the applied examples. The needs for the protection roof and walking platforms at the archeological sites, the design and application process of the structures and their functionality during their protection and presentation rules were all examined.Besides analysing the structures, a model proposal has been prepared for Apollo Clarios Oracle Centre. The model proposal prepared with the purpose of protection and presentation includes the arrangements aimed for the whole area and comprehensive restoration works carried out on the pilot application area. The model proposal was prepared for the protection problem on the presentation and pilot application area.
