Abstract (EN)

The science of archeology sheds light on the emergence of materials that were a part of human life in the past, their production places, production methods and areas of use and many other unknowns. Although the beginning of archaeological studies is based on ancient times, it has gained momentum with the partnership of other disciplines in the last 50 years. In order to move the results of the researches forward from the theory in the light of concrete data, the term "Archaeometry" has emerged with the coming together of many scientific fields. Archeometry make character analysis by considering mineralogical, micro-morphological and chemical aspects of the findings. With the discovery of human beings to melt glass at high temperatures, this material has become one of the most important materials from which utility items and artistic objects are made. It has emerged as a result of archaeological research that objects such as glass beads, glass rods, glass jewelry and glass tableware were used. These glass objects are classified according to the social status in the society. Thus, glass jewelry has turned into a social identity in society. Archeology and Archeometry researches provide us with very important data in order to understand the adventure of glass, which occupies such an important place in our lives, in the historical process. In this thesis, which consists of four main sections, the definition and history of archeology and archaeometry are examined, researches in our country and in the world are included, the definition, structure, production techniques and historical development of glass are discussed. While creating the article, literature searches were made for the period starting from the ancient times to the present. Inspired by the historical glass artifacts examined and the results of archaeological research, various designs were made and these designs were blended with today's jewelry art. The production was carried out by using stained glass technique, open flame shaping, hot glass shaping, mold forming and under glass technique methods.
