The Albanian minorities at Albania State's forign policy (Kosovo, Macedonia, Greece)

Albania has a strategic importance in Balkan Penninsula and for this reason it plays serious role in this region. The geostrategic importance of Albania brings in the same time some different problems. The problem of minorities is the most important one, because the architecture of Albanian foreign policy is builded in a way by these minorities.In this thesis work we treated the Balkan?s key counry, Albanian?s foreign policy, and the reflection that she has on her minorities. If we study Balkan?s demography we can notice that Albanians are one of the most spreaded ethnity. By this view there are six million Albanians in Balkans and just 3,3 million of them live in Albania the others are live in the neighbouring countries. Specially, after Cold War the Albanians that were out of Albania, in a critical geographic area which was influenced by irredentism absorbed the international attention. After Cold War Albanian nationalism was growing up in that way that has the caracter to be a sample. The nationalism among Albanians that live in Kosovo, Macedonia, Greece, and Montenegro was spred so fast that ?Albanian Question? comes im nowadays.In the same time minorities is one of the topics that must be choosen in the region with problems of Balkan Penninsula. Thesis consists on three chapters:Introduction Chapter we treated the policies that Albania used on Albanian minorities that live in different countries of Balkan.At the First Chapter, we treated the history of Albania in a period from 1912 (the year that Albania became independent) to nowadays. In this chapter we treated in topics the eternal and esternal factors that influence the foreign policy of Albania.At the Second Chapter, we treated the influence of Albanian minorities on Albanian foreign policy. We also treated in topics the influence that Albanian minorities which live in Kosovo, Macedonia and Greece have in each country.At the last chapter, we considered the Albanian's future foreign policy that will be determinated by her EU membership, her good relations with USA and neighbouring countries and also we hypothesed about her future.
