Synthesis and characterization of aromatic containing cyclic phosphorus sulfur compounds

In this thesis, one Ferrocenyl Lawesson Reagent (FcLR), two ferrocenyl dithiophosphonic acids ([FcLn] (n=1,2) n=1; 4-tert-butylcyclohexyl-, n=2; 2-phenyl-1-propyl-) and two ammonium salts (Fc-DTPOA) was resynthesized according to the method in the literature. From the reaction of the synthesized ligands with ethanol, two new Ni(II) ([Ni(FcLn)2]) and two new double metal-centered Cd(II) ([Cd2(µ-FcLn)2(FcLn)2]) complexes with four coordination were synthesized. The structures of the synthesized complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry (ESI), FT-IR, NMR (1H-, 13C-, 31P-) spectroscopy.
