Abstract (EN)
19th century late and 20th century. The modern art movements that emerged at the beginning were shaped by important historical developments. The rise of these movements took place under the influence of social, economic and cultural changes and put artists in different pursuits. Artists questioned traditional patterns and created designs based on impressions and original perspectives rather than imitating objects in nature. Additionally, they used objects from nature as materials and processed these materials from a different perspective. Rapidly changing conditions in the world along with modern art movements have also transformed the designs of craftsmen in jewelry art. These changes have enabled the integration of jewelry design with other art disciplines.
