Abstract (EN)
The aim of the research is to examine the development of the figure skating sport branch and to create a measurable, valid and reliable evaluation inventory of the technical skill development of beginner-level branch athletes. In this way, it is aimed to enable branch coaches to develop training programs to further increase success, based on the skill development measurements of their athletes. In the research, statistical operations are performed on branch data obtained in field applications by using the screening technique, one of the quantitative research methods. Statements aimed at evaluating the development of target skills are collected in a statement pool through detailed literature review and presented to expert opinion. In line with expert feedback, a draft application evaluation inventory with KGO and KGI level calculations and a validity coefficient of 0.97 (97%) is being developed. The developed draft evaluation inventory is applied to a total of 50 beginner athletes in the figure skating branch and tested with comparative statistics of the average scores given by 4 field experts to the athletes' skills. In the statistical operations carried out; The reliability results were found to be Fleiss Kappa ratio of 0.78, error-free alpha ratio of 0.79, error probability ratio of 0.43%, generalizability relative G ratio of 0.90, absolute G ratio of 0.88 and Phi ratio of 88.1%. It can be said that a valid, reliable and highly consistent generalizable evaluation tool was achieved in the research. It is recommended to be used to monitor the technical skill development levels of figure skating level 1 athletes.
