Usage of metal powders in artistic glass forms

This work; It is carried out to investigate the effects of the usage of metal powders on surface decoration in flame working methods. In the first part of the thesis; the definition of glass, its historical process and the production and use of women's glass ornaments in this process are included. In the second part which covers the shaping methods in glass art; flame working, hot glass and cold glass forming methods are mentioned. In the third part; the information about the glass types used in the study is given. In the fourth part; the use of alternative materials in glass art is discussed and the use of uranium, lead, phosphorescence-bone powder used in artistic glass production is mentioned. In the fifth section where the types of metal powders used in the thesis are explained; the information about copper, zinc, tin and brass powders is given. In the sixth part; the designs and applications made within the scope of the study are explained in detail. In the seventh and last part; the presentations of personal applications are made.
