Inventory planning and industrial application in water treatment systems

It is known that the enterprises in the field of production endure high financial burden related the supply chain. These expenses influence directly to production and operations' costs. Important costs related to supply chaim are inventory and transportation cost. Inventory costs are influenced from manufacturing supply methods and business processes that is used. In order to get accurate and effective results, inventory planning should be made specific to business. In this study, water treatment gadget delivered by XYZ organization is examined. Optimal inventory rules have been solved by using the historical data. In this context, inventory costs were calculated by applying service levels approach (Q, R).
