The perspective of science world to the growing world population, the near future of biosphere and the great disasters awaiting the world

The world population is increasing uncontrollably, especially in underdeveloped countries. Industrialization, unplanned urbanization, economic problems cause illiteracy and the destruction of the natural environment. Moreover, this large mass of population, which cannot be subjected to a real education, is struggling with hunger and poverty. This mass is also open to wars, terrorism and the damages that may arise from them. Starving or poor societies tend to meet their basic needs first. Disaster perceptions and awareness are not developed. Thus, the vulnerability in these societies is extremely high. Starting from all these problems, the aim of this research is to reveal the deepest problems from the eyes of scientists working in different branches and with a multidisciplinary perspective to produce new theories from the "Grounded Theory" and to offer solutions to problems. In this context, a "semi-structured" question set based on the phenomena of "Population", "Future of the Biosphere" and "Disasters" was prepared as a scale. Its consistency and credibility were tested and then used as a qualitative data measurement tool. In a series of interviews, the knowledge of a group of scientists, all PhD graduates, including Ecologists, Structural and Environmental Engineers, Development Experts, Sociologists and Educational Scientists, was consulted through in-depth interviews. The data stack created from the audio recordings obtained was analyzed by using thematic and descriptive analysis methods together. As a result of the studies, it has been revealed that we do not live in a sustainable world, and that the most fundamental factor that causes illiteracy and population growth due to unbalanced income distribution, and therefore climate change and disasters, is again people and their actions. It has been understood that the biggest problem underlying disasters is that there is too little focus on population and the concept of vulnerability.
