Kinetic typography in augmented reality

Augmented reality (AR) emerges by combining digital resources created with computer programs on the real world image. The simultaneous display of digital content such as images, video, text and sound with computer programs on the real world image enriches the real world. In graphic design, different design applications are used to convey a message effectively. In graphic design, which develops in parallel with technology, different, original and memorable designs emerge with new applications such as AR. The use of motion graphics in graphic design makes the design fun and attention-grabbing. In the literature review, it was seen that although there are studies dealing with different dimensions of augmented reality, there are few studies in the field of graphic design. Within the scope of the study, 10 selected words about what graphic design is for in Alice Twemlow's book "What is Graphic Design for?" were animated in Adobe After Effects program and then transferred to Adobe Aero program, which is an augmented reality application, and images were obtained in different places. Presenting typography together with AR application makes it possible to create different and experimental designs. The fact that the selected subject and words have not been the subject of any augmented reality application before is important as an original subject. In addition, the lack of a study in the literature on augmented reality application and kinetic typography is another important factor. Another important point is that this research can be a resource for researchers and practitioners who want to make augmented reality applications, advertising agencies who want to interactively influence consumers with different alternatives, and researchers who want to work in this field.
