Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACT MASTER THESIS SPEED CONTROL OF ASYNCHRONOUS MACHINES WITH SLIDING MODE WITHOUT SENSOR Korhan KAYIŞLI Firat University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Electrical Education 2003, Page: 60. The modern industrial applications of the electrical driver, especially the applications including the control of speed and position have required the driving mechanism gives response quickly and correctly for the desired reference value. That the magnetic time constant of the electrical machines are very big, has required the variations in the load moment effect the magnetic field in the machine. In this study, it has been shown that the fault dynamics of the control inputs have been reached the state space from any point value to sliding surface and after reaching sliding surface, the fault space converges to the origin. The sliding mode control especially is applied to nonlinear systems. The main objective in this control method is to push the fault to switching or sliding surface and to hold in this surface. Then the system is sliding mode and don't be effected disturbations or the modeling fault. The methods of the speed sensorless control of the induction machines have been investigated and the advantages and disadvantages of these methods have been demonstrated. Then the simulation programs which perform the speed sensorless control of the induction machines have been enhanced. Only simulations have been performed because we have not hardware which necessitate for experimental applications and its cost is more expensive.
