Abstract (EN)
It was investigated whether the newly synthesized Acetone O- (4-chlorophenylsulfonyl)oxime (Ia) substance has mitigating effects of stress on Maize ( Zea mays L.) seedlings under drought and copper stress. Maize seedlings grown under optimum conditions in the plant growth room were cut 2 cm above the surface after 25 ± 2 days and subjected to the following applications: 18 hours distilled water (C), 6 hours Ia + 12 hours distilled water (Ia), 6 hours distilled water+12 hour PEG (Ku), 6 hours distilled water+12 hours copper (Cu), 6 hours Ia+12 hours PEG (Ia+Ku) and 6 hours Ia+12 hours copper (Ia+Cu). After the application process, the samples were passed through liquid nitrogen and preserved for the experiments planned to be carried out at -20 ° C. The important stress parameters MDA, H2O2, Proline, Phenolic substance, Photosynthetic Pigment, Copper and Relative Water contents were determined by HPLC and spectrophotometric methods. Besides these parameters, the activities of antioxidant enzymes SOD, GPX, CAT, and APX were investigated. The positive effects of alone-Ia on maize seedlings were determined. In maize seedlings under drought stress, it was determined that the substance Ia decreased the MDA, H2O2, ABA content, increased the Proline, Chlorophyll, AsA, Carotenoid content and the Relative Water content did not change. In addition, it was determined that while GPX, CAT and APX enzyme activities decreased, SOD enzyme activity increased. In the application of the Ia substance to maize seedlings under copper stress, it was determined that the MDA, H2O2, ABA and Corenoid content decreased and the Copper, Proline, Chlorophyll, AsA, SA and Relative Water content increased. In addition, while GPX, CAT and SOD enzyme activities decreased, APX enzyme activity increased. When all the findings are evaluated together, it is concluded that under 1 mM copper stress and 3% PEG drought stress, application of Ia substance at a concentration of 0,66 mM significantly alleviates the negative effects of stress on maize seedlings.
