Abstract (EN)
This study aims to examine the life, art and literary personality of Bard, Taki Koçak. Methods applied include written resources and the works of Bard Taki Koçak. In addition, an interview was held with the Bard.In the introductory part of the study, the villages of Kalecik and Elmapınar, where Bard Taki Koçak has been raised, were introduced. Then, the evolution of the Bard tradition, its present situation, as well as the place of Bard Taki Koçak in this tradition among other Bards, were explained. His ideas regarding the Bard tradition were provided. Also, various print documents and news about Taki Kocak and his awards are stated.This study tries to introduce the situations, which has influenced Bard Taki Koçak?s life and literary personality. Implications are drawn regarding the types and styles of poetic verse he used in his poems. Linguistic features of his poems, as well as the figures of speech he employed, are evaluated. It was concluded that the major elements contributing to Bard Taki Koçak?s art are religion and sufism, social emotions and the lover. The metaphors employed by the Bard are examined both in terms of their sufistic aspects and as in the style they were used by Bard Taki Koçak.Finally, the poems of Bard Taki Koçak are provided in an alphabetical order.Key Words:1.
