Thematic analysis of stories and poems of Ashik (Minstrel) Mehemmet Sadaklı

In this study, Ashik Mehemmet Sadaklı's; thematic analysis of Mihrali Beg Epic, Prince Neriman and Prince Ferman Epic, Rüstem and Zöhrab Epic, Abbas and Rahile Epic, Zaman Han Epic, Lom İsmayil Epic, Rehim Shepherd Epic, Ashik Mehemmet Sadaklı's Kars and Tbilisi Expedition Epics' thematic analysis have made thematically. This study aims to bring the stories of Ashik Mehemmet Sadaklı, one of the minstrels who serve this tradition, to Turkish folk literature by referring to the Georgian minstrel tradition. For the study, firstly, a literature review was made. The stories we obtained (except for the Kars and Tbilisi Expedition Epics of Ashik Mehemmet Sadaklı) were translated from Azerbaijani Turkish with Cyrillic Alphabet to Turkey Turkish. The poems in the stories are given in Azerbaijani Turkish with Latin Alphabet. They have not been translated into Turkey Turkish. The purpose is to prevent the deterioration of meaning integrity, rhyme and syllable orders in poems while translating. The translated stories and poems in the story; It has been studied thematically under titles such as "Family, Religion, National Feelings, Individual Emotions, Entertainment, Animals, Traditions and Customs, Social Relations, Extraordinary Events, Education". The study is essential since no study has been conducted on Ashik Mehemmet Sadaklı and his stories. This study will build a small bridge between Georgian storytelling and Turkish folk storytelling.
