In this study, the problem ofselection the best light machine gun in military defence systems was tried tosolve with Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Analytic Network Process(ANP). The criteria concerning the light machine guns were defined byspecialist?s opinions, necessary questionnaires are prepared and applied and theresults were obtained via using Super Decision 1.6.0 software. Then the resultsobtained by AHP and ANP were compared and evaluated.
