Abstract (EN)
This study was aimed at carrying out the effects of hatching quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica) eggs treated with L-ascorbic acid solution on hatching results, hatchability, embryonic mortality, amniotic fluid pH values and viability and embryonic weight of chicks. The quail eggs which were used in the study were supplied from a private breeding farm and 5529 total number eggs were used in the study. The eggs which were used in the study were three main groups. Ascorbic acide treatment was applied to the first group at the top of incubation period (İB) (5 g/1 dk, 5 g/2 dk, 10 g/1 dk, 10 g/2 dk), to the second group (İS) (5 g/1dk, 5 g/2 dk, 10 g/1 dk,10 g/2 dk) during the incubation period. The third group eggs were control group. Nine groups were used in the study. At the top of the incubation period (5 g/1 dk, 5 g/2 dk, 10 g/1 dk,10 g/2 dk) and during the incubation period, hatching yield was defined at the control groups (64.01%, 72.07%, 65.20%, 62.53%, 68.11%, 71.40%, 68.11%, 63.32% ve 60.72%) the hatching yield of the groups with ascorbic acide was (5 g/1 dk, 5 g/2 dk, 10 g/1 dk, 10 g/2 dk). The hatching yield of groups which were at the top of the incubation period 5g/2dk and at the during incubation period 5 g/1 dk, 5 g/2 dk and 10 g/1 dk were influenced positive respect at different degrees. And hatchability (P<0.01, P<0.001) was influenced with positive respect at different degrees. Early, middle and last period of ratios of embryonic death were sequence during the incubation period 5 g/1 dk, 1.49% and at the top of the incubation period 5 g/2 dk, 6.73%. At the top of the incubation period and during the incubation period ascorbic acide treatment effected at early and middle period (P<0.01, P<0.001). Ascorbic acide treatment didn?t effect on the embriyonic death at the last period. At the fifth day of incubation, pH values at the top of the incubation period were sequnce 8.41, 8.51 and 8.10 and the white of an egg?s pH values were effected at different degrees. At the groups at the tenth days (middle period ) and twelfth and thirteenth days (last period ) white of an egg?s were found different. Six weeks viability of quails was effected positive at the top of the incubation period at the different degrees (P<0.01, P<0.001).As a result at the top of the incubation period and during the incubation period quail egg?s hatching yield and hatchability and white of an egg were effected positive with treatment of ascorbic acide, however embriyonic which weights and embryonic weight percentage per egg weight was not effected. But for defining different quantity of solution, different dipping time and different application time different studies must be done.
