The Zooplankton of Aslantas dam lake (Osmaniye)

In the end of the study, 2 subspecimen and 33 specimen of Rotifera; 14 specimen of Cladosera; and 4 specimen of Copepoda, totally 51 specimen and 2 subspecimen are determined; furthermore, it is found out that average 298.039 individual/m3 of zooplankton is made of 85.85% Rotifera; 9.34% Copepoda; and 4.82% Cladocera It is found that Keratella cochlearis cochlearis, K. cochlearis tecta, Polyarthra dolichoptera, Trichocerca capucina and Asplanchna priodonta from the group of Rotifera; Bosmina longirostris, Daphnia galeata, Diaphanasoma birgei, Leptodora Mngtii from the group of Cladocera; and Cyclops vicinus and naupli from the group of Copepoda at every month during the study. In addition to this, 34.59% Polyarthra dolichoptera from Rotifera on the surface, 29.29% Keratella cochlearis cochlearis in the deep; 1.46% from Cladocera on the surface and 4.07% Bosmina longirostris in the deep; 0.23% from Copepoda on the surface and 4.35% Thermocyclops rylovi in the deep are the most commonly found specimen The depth of zooplankton is searched, and Rotifera is found most commonly in 5.0 meter deep, Cladocera in 2.5 meter deep and Copepoda in 5.0 meter deep.
