The directors of police in Atatürk's period

The Police Department has importance of giving life to regimes and imperiling its own vitality. Like in every subject, perceiving and comprehending the security services in a proper way, can make possible to explan the today?s situation and estimate the occurance of future when we just obtain the information about the past events.On account of that, it is necessary to do academic studies about the chiefs of police at the end of Ottoman Empire and republic term of Turkey.This thesis consists of introduction and four parts. Primarily, I have tried to shed light on phases of Turkish Police Department. First of all I collected information about the chiefs of Police who were officiated that time. After that, I did classification of the schools that they have graduated from, and if they were officiated as a local chief of Police or a general chief of Police.
